Hunt, Manager The mill located here is one of the golden industries in our midst. Mr. J. S. Hunt is its manager and he is also identified with a number of other interests. He was born in New Orleans and reared in Arkansas and entered into the mill business twelve years ago. He is now concerned in the Winnfield Mercantile Company, also the new Furniture Store, besides owning good front property that will be improved in due time. His elegant home, erected at a cost of $ 7,000, or more, is one of our landmarks. At this time the saw mill is shut down but the planing mill is running and under normal conditions it employs 30 men and enjoys a capacity of 40,000 feet a day. Mr. Hunt has made what he has in the mill business and is a most excellent man to have engaged in his line among us.
