In the book she discusses the modern kindergarten movement in the United States today. A retired teacher of the Los Angeles public school system, Dr. Robinson received her masters and doctorate degrees from Pepperdine College of Los Angeles. She is a recipient of many civic, political, academic and religious awards. Aside from her daily classroom work, Dr. Robinson busied herself in the community teaching and working with young people and small children. In addition to her work as an educator she is also an ordained minister. Dr. Robinson is a National Baptist Evangelist. She is married to Plummer Robinson and they are the parents of six children, Charlie, Fred, Michael, Belle, Gloria, and Zeritha.
