Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil A. Taylor of Winnfield, was recently named as one of the honorees in a publication entitled "Outstanding Young Men In America". Taylor, who is presently employed as a Process Engineer for Crown Central Petroleum in Houston, Texas, is a 1967 graduate of Winnfield Senior High School. The 29 year old Winn Parish native received a B. S. Degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana Tech in 1972 and a M. S. Degree in 1972. The recipient of numerous Jaycee awards, including Outstanding First Year Jaycee, Key Man Award, and Joe Jaycee Award, Taylor holds membership in several professional organizations. He is an associate member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and member of the South Texas Local section, member of the Houston Engineering and Scientific Society, Engineer-in-Training with the Louisiana Engineering Society and a member of the Chemical Engineering Magazine's Product Research Panel. A member of the Second Baptist Church, he is the host of "KODA Communique", a weekly public affairs radio program and substitute host for public affairs programs "Overview" and "Headline Report" on Houston radio stations.
