He is an older brother of J. W. Boyett, Jr., so well known throughout the state. He was born and reared in Winn Parish and made a success on the farm. He is now state organizer in the Farmers' Union. He has organized 94 local units in 12 months and has been instrumental in erecting 22 warehouses at a cost of $ 50,000. The Union in the state is increasing at the rate of $ 1,000 a month, largely due to the unusual energies of Mr. Boyett in north Louisiana. He has an excellent constitution, full of enerty and it is not a wonder that the Union has harnessed him. He has a wife and five children. It is hoped that Winnfield will develop and attract more like him.
