Other existing shrubbery inside fence marks some graves with no stone markers. Many of the old pine board markers have rotted away. Cemetery is also known as Pleasant Hill Cemetery ( original name ). USFS maps of Kisatchie National Forest denote it as Pleasant Hill. There is also another old cemetery site just West of this location on an abandoned dirt road that pre-dates this site. Cemetery had pine knot markers that were destroyed by logging operations in the 1960's. There were never any named markers that the writer could find before area was torn up.
