Episcopal Convention Authorizes St. Paul's Mission in Winnfield

The Louisiana Diocese of the Episcopal Church, in annual convention this week 
at Lake Charles, authorized the establishment of the St. Paul's Mission for the 
Winnfield membership.

A petition asking for this authorization was signed by the local Episcopalians 
and was presented at the convention by R. P. Johnson, Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson attended the convention, accompanied by Rev. and Mrs. 
Iverson Noland of Natchitoches.  Rev. Nolan is pastor of the local mission.
