Negro Quarters at noon Tuesday, the Damon woman using a large pocket knife and stabbed the other woman once in the heart. It was said that the Damon woman had deserted her husband for another negro man, but returning home found that during her absence, her husband, Jack Damon, was living with the McWright woman. This caused the disturbance which led up to the killing of the McWright woman. The Damon woman was arrested and is being held without bail.
