B. Bowman While In a Game Saturday Night A quarrel over ninety cents between Cooty Gray and C. B. Bowman, negroes in a game known as "Georgia Skin Game" resulted in the death of Bowman last Saturday night. The misunderstanding arose during a game at the quarters and Gray stabbed Bowman five times one of the stabs reaching his heart. Bowman worked here as an extra hand at the Mansfield Hardwood Mill. His folks lived in Jonesboro and came this week for the body. He had been working here about two years. Gray was arrested by the officers.
