WIFE SLAYER IS KILLED BY DEPUTIES

Zack Jones, who killed his wife a week ago in the cow lot at their home near
Ball, La., and who has been at large in the woods since then, was killed
Sunday morning by three deputies who were searching the wood for him. Jones
was about to raise his gun and fire at the officers when they killed him.
