August 15, 1901.
     Notice is hereby given that the following named settler has filled notice
of his intention to make final proof in support of his claim and that said
proof will be made before J. T. Wallace, U. S. Com., at Winnfield, La., on
September 21st, 1901, viz:
     Wright J. Boyd, H. E. No. 20694 for the west half of southeast quarter &
south half of southwest quarter Sec 34 Tp. 12 N. R. 1 E. La. Mer.
     He names the following witnesses to prove his continuous residence upon
and cultivation of said land, viz:
     W. R. Brown, Daniel Harper, O. H. Harper, Jr., Mack Taylor, All of Winn 
Parish, La.
