McCarty PARISH OF WINN************** BE IT KNOWN, That this day before me A. A. Moss Notary Public in and for the said parish, duly commissioned and sworn, came and appeared S. J. Weems, once married to Mrs. Nola Shirley, nee Miss Nola Curry now living and residing with him, a resident of Franklin Parish, Louisiana who declared that he does by these presents GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL, CONVEY and DELIVER, with full guarantee of title, and with complete transfer and subrogation of all rights and actions in warranty against all former proprietors of the property herein conveyed unto T. H. McCarty, once married to Miss Lucy Shumaker, now living and residing with him, a resident of Winn Parish, Louisiana, the following described property, to-wit; SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Section 1, Tp. 11, N. R. 1 West, La. Mer. containing 40 acres more or less TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said described property unto said purchaser, his heirs and assigns forever. This sale is made for the consideration of the sum of One Hundred Eighty and no/100 Dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. The Certificate of Mortgage is hereby waived by the parties, and evidence of the payment of taxes produced. DONE AND PASSED at my office, in said Parish of Winn in Presence of Estelle Tanner and T.
