Shirley Weems } To } Urania Lumber Company, Ltd.} KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That Mrs. Martha L. Weems, wife of S. J. Weems, and widow of John E. Shirley, of Winn Parish, La. has sold and does by these presents for the price and on the terms and conditions below expressed, sell, convey, transfer, and deliver, with warranty of title against all persons lawfully claiming by, through, or under them, unto the Urania Lumber Company, Ltd., all and singular, the following described real estate situated in the Parish of Winn, State of Louisiana, viz: S 1/2 of NE 1/4 Sec. 12, T. 11 N. R. 1 West, La. Mer., containing 80 acres more or less. Note - Mrs. Weems acquired this land by H. E. after the death of her former husband, Jno. E. Shirley. together with all rights, ways, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or appertaining, to have and to hold the said property unto the said purchaser and unto their heirs, successors and assigns forever. This sale and conveyance is made for and in consideration of the price and sum of One Hundred Twenty Dollars, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and a full acquittance is hereby granted and given thereof. In testimony whereof, the said vendor has signed and acknowledged these presents on this 14th day of Mar. 1914, in the Town of Urania, La. in the presence of the two competent witnesses who subscribe hereto opposite the signature of the said vendor. Nelson State of Louisiana Parish of LaSalle BE IT KNOWN, That on this 14th day of Mar. 1914, before me, the Undersigned authority, personally came and appeared Mrs. Martha L. Weems and husband S. J. Weems, to me well known to be the person described in and who executed the foregoing deed and who declared unto me in the presence of the two competent witnesses thereto that they signed the above and foregoing act of conveyance for the intents and purposes therein expressed.
