Winn Parish Medical Society

Doctors Met and Organized a Professional Society

A number of the physicians of Winn Parish met at the office of Drs. Peters and
Peters here Tuesday, in response to a call issued by Dr. I. E. Siess, and
organized a society to be known as the Winn Parish Medical Society.

The society will meet semi-annually at Winnfield, La., at which time topics of
interest to the medical profession will be discussed.

The physicians in attendance were Dr. I. E. Siess, J. J. Peters, A. M. Peters,
Winnfield; H. A. Smith, J. H. Pankey, Dodson; E. L. Drummond, Calvin; J. B.
Parker, Sikes.

The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, I. E.
Siess; vice-president, H. A. Smith; secretary and treasurer, A. M. Peters.

The next regular meeting will be held at Winnfield the first Tuesday in
November.
