The assembly of Rainbow girls of Winnfield was instituted, members were installed, and officers were installed at the Eastern Star Lodge of Winnfield Sunday afternoon, September 2, at two o'clock. Twenty-eighth girls were initiated and the following officers were installed: Worthy Advisor, Nancy King; Associate Advisor, Mitzi Roberts; Charity, Doris Parker; Hope, Johnnie Frazier; Faith, Nellie Faye Sikes; Recorder, Dale Moss; Treasurer, Glenda Gayle McCartney; Chaplain, Joy Nell Walker; Drill Leader, Helen Lynn LaCroix. Seven color stations, Abigail Hahn, Gloria Lawley, Jessie Lee Riley, Peggy Bolton, Jimmie Lou Hightower, Shirley King, and Bobby Jean Collins; Organist, Jimmie Mae McMurry; Choir Director, Jane Thompson. Choir: Tappy Tracey, Pat Carwile, Violet Sue Brister, Ann Allen, Joan Kimball, Peggy McCloy, Mary Berry, and Djuana Ray Gibson; Confidential Observer, Reggie Lou Gates; Outher Observer, Patsy Berry. Miss Alice Teddlie of Olla, Mother Advisor of the Olla assembly, accompanied the Olla organization to Winnfield where they took charge of the institution, installation, and initiation of the Winnfield group.
