DODSON ELECTION

Dodson, April 21- The first municipal election Dodson ever had took
place here today.  There was not much interest manifested in the
election and not many votes were polled.  The election passed off
quietly, resulting in the election of the following officers:  
J. T. Payne, mayor; R. R. Gentry, marshall; J. J. Stovall, W. M. Milam,
and S. E. Wasson, aldermen.  This is a good set of officers and is a
voluntary selection by the better element of our citizens.
