This Census was certified July 24, 1911 by Mr. P. K. Abel. (The above census was copied from records on file at and furnished by the Office of the Louisiana Secretary of State, Baton Rouge, LA. Submitted by Greggory Ellis Davies, Winnfield, Louisiana. The submitter realizes many errors such as spelling, age, regiment and company information exists in the original census. Most of these errors are due to the age or the mental condition of the veteran at the time of the census. Oftentimes, the relative or other parties living in the home did not have enough knowledge of the veteran's history to give correct answers to the questions posed by the census taker.)
