This file may not be uploaded to any other website or used by any person(s) in a mailing list message other than the USGenWeb Archives, Winn Par., LA without the express written permission of the submitter.*********************************************** General Affidavet State of Louisiana County of Winn In the matter of Theophelus Branch penison claim On this 20th day of Dec.A.D 1890 personally appeared before me W W Smith a justice of the peace H Wielly Hammons in and for the aforesaid county,duly authorized to administer oths,H.W.Hammons aged 58 years a resident of Gaars Mill in the county of Winn and state of Louisiana well known to me to be reputable and entitled to credit, and who being duly sworn declares in relation to aforesaid case as follows That he has been aquainted with Theophelus Branch 20 years and that Mr Branch's ability to perform manual labor is not more than one fourth that of an able bodied man. Also comes G.T.Faith a resadent of the state and parish aforesaid age 42 years being duly sworn deposed and says that he has been aquainted with Theophelus Branch ever since he can recollect 30 years or more and that his ability preform manual labor is not more than one fourth that of an able bodied man.
