            State of La   County of Winn

In the matter of-------- Pension-----------
of Theophilus Branch personally comes the claimant,who being
first sworn on oth,says that he has not been in the Militory
or Naval Services of the U.S.Since he was discharged from
service of company (C)1st regiment,La Independent Scouts volunteers
on the twelfth day of November AD 1864
