Marvin Harrell Is Commander At Natchitoches

Marvin Harrell, Second Lieutenant, Louisiana National Guard, has been named
Commander of Headquarters Company, Second Battalion, 199th Infantry Regiment,
it was announced this week.  Headquarters Company is in Natchitoches.

The appointment became effective Monday, July 7.  Harrell replaces Second
Lieutenant Pat Willis of Natchitoches.

Lt. Harrell has been with Company G, the Winnfield unit, since January 10,
1950.  He was commissioned May 30, 1951, and was serving as platoon leader in
the local company.

He is an Army veteran, and served in the Pacific theatre during World War II.
