Mrs. W. R. Blair Gives Shot-Put Soldier Son Broke Record With

With the old stoves and other scrap metal Mrs. W. A. Blair, of Laurel Heights,
donated to Miss Ruth Woods and her school children Thursday, she also gave a
shot-put her soldier son, Winifred, broke the record with for Winn Parish
during the time he attended the Winnfield High School.  Winifred is said to be
serving his country somewhere on a tropical island.
