Tommy Harrel, Jr., In San Diego U. S. Naval Hospital

Marine Corps First Lieutenant Tommy Harrel, Jr., of Winnfield, who was wounded
in Vietnam June 16, and who has been in a U. S. Navy hospital on Guam, arrived
in San Francisco on July 4, and was later transferred to the U. S. Navy
Hospital in San Diego, Calif., to await eye surgery.

Lt. Harrel's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy H. Harrel, Sr., his wife, Sandra, and
son, Tommy III, met him in San Francisco, and accompanied him to San Diego. 
His parents returned to Winnfield July 12 and his wife and baby remained in
San Diego.

Tommy Harrel, Sr., reported that the general condition of his son was "very
good."
