Morelle Emmons, Superintendent Lincoln Parish Schools

Morelle Emmons is the new superintendent of schools in Lincoln Parish,
succeeding H. L. Campbell, who has accepted a position in the state department
of education.  Mr. Emmons has been supervising principal of Ruston Elementary
schools the past year.  He was principal at the Simsboro High School for 10
years, principal of the Hodge Elementary School four years and a teacher at
Jonesboro.  He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech and has a master's degree from
Louisiana State University.  He is a native of Winn Parish and a graduate of
Dodson High School.
