Johnny Cash To Be Featured In Benefit April 9

Johnny Cash, pictured above, will be the star of the benefit performance for
the Crippled Children's society that will be presented at the Winnfield High
School gym Tuesday, 
April 9, at 3 p.m.

Additional attractions that are expected to draw an overflowing crowd will be
Johnny Horton, star of Louisiana Hayride, Jerry Lee Lewis and his band, and
Glen Douglas and his band.

Called "the most promising new country artist of 1956", Johnny Cash was
invited to become a member of the cast of the Grand Old Opry after less than
nine months in the entertainment field.
