L. C. Lloyd Stovall, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Stovall of Dodson, a former graduate of Dodson High School, continued his education at LSU graduating there with BA and MA degrees. Mr. Stovall taught three years in Mississippi, then in February, 1938, he went to Southeastern Louisiana College at Hammond as head coach of the college. In August of 1938 he was married to Mary Elizabeth Edwins, who also is a graduate of LSU with BM and BA degrees. In 1945 Mr. Stovall was made head of the Department of Health and Physical Education. He retains this position at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Stovall have two children and one grandchild. Their oldest daughter, Mrs. Annabelle Parish, is a graduate of SLC and their youngest daughter, Mimi, is a freshman in high school. Dodson folks, friends, and relatives are proud of Lloyd's academic accomplishments and his rise to his present responsibilities. He begins his 27th year, February, 1964, with SLC.
