Cree, Sr., of Joyce, was named Queen of the State Fair football game in a vote of the student body at Northwestern State College, it was announced. Rose Ness is in her third year at NSC, where she entered after graduating from Winnfield High School. She will participate in the State Fair Parade this Saturday morning and will reign with her court at the NSC-Tech football game, traditional State Fair rivals, in the afternoon. The Queen is well experienced in her royal duties, having been named CENLA Fair Queen year before last in the NSC-La. College affair, and Homecoming Queen at Winnfield High School before her graduation. Rose Nell is a majorette with the NSC band, a position which she also filled with the local high school band before entering college.
