A. F. Singletary Named State C of C President

Archie F. Singletary of Shreveport, formerly of Winnfield, last Saturday was
elected president of the Louisiana State Chamber of Commerce for the 1969-70
year.  He succeeded Henry T. Craven of Lake Charles.  Singletary is the
son of Mrs. Lula Love Singletary of Shreveport and of the late A. F.
Singletary, Sr.  He is a graduate of Winnfield High School and Northwestern
State College.  The first meeting of the new board will be held in Baton Rouge
on May 20.
