Former Dodson Boy Honored

The many friends of Clayton Taylor, formerly of Dodson, but now a resident
of the prosperous oil town of Smackover, Ark., will be glad to hear that
Mr. Taylor was the victor recently in a three-cornered fight for mayoralty
honors of the fast-growing city of Smackover, Ark.

Mr. Taylor was formerly connected with B. M. Stovall and Company, as well
as W. M. Gaar, of this city, and his many friends in this section are
congratulating him and glad to hear of his continued success, and hope that
his administration as Mayor may prove the most successful in the history of
the prosperous oil town of Smackover, Ark.  The fact that Mr. Taylor
defeated three candidates for this honor is an evidence of his popularity.
