Wade was born in Natchitoches, and moved to Winn Parish and received his educational training. He graduated from the Winn Parish Training School, later Pinecrest High, and presently known as the Winn Parish Career Center. He attended in-service training courses from Grambling College and received certificates of merit. He is a member of the Winn parish Advisory Council for ESEA Title I educational programs, which involves Remedial Instructional Programs for Disadvantaged Students of Winn Parish. Wade is a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, serves as Chairman of the Board of Deacons an is president of the Brotherhood. He is presently serving as the Worshipful Master of King Solomon Lodge No. 18, Winnfield, La. A 33rd Degree Mason, Tyler of the Most Worshipful Universal Grand Lodge A. F. & A. M. of Shreveport, La., Secretary of Mecca Temple No. 201, Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, Natchitoches, La. Wade is a community leader in civic affairs, now serving as vice-president of the Winn District Voters' League, member of the NAACP, and Community Advisor for the Winnfield Teenage Community Club. He received a plaque for outstanding services rendered to the community of Winnfield and Winn Parish. He served on the Advisory Committee for Recreation for the City of Winnfield. Wade is married to the former Celestine Turner of Winnfield and the father of two children, Mrs. Myrtle Ray Barnes of Winnfield and Eurtis V. Wade of Los Angeles, California.
