Myers-McLaren Gather For Annual Reunion

The descendants of William E. and Lena Myers McLaren gathered for an annual
1988 reunion Sunday, June 26, at the Forestry Building in Winnfield, La.

New officers were elected as follows: Sonny Tisdale, president, Sammie
Saulsbury, secretary, and Janie McLaren O'Neal, treasurer.

Present were: from Greenwell Springs, La., Hattie "Snooks" McLaren Thomas,
Gene and Edith Fairchild, and Cheryl Fairchild Hood, April, and Daniel; from
Springhill, La., Mary McLaren Halterman, Shirley Carroll Vercher, Ethel
Carroll, Diane Montgomery with Jonathan and Matt, Simmie Halterman, Robert
Randall Smith, Mary Ellen Halterman, Megan McLaren Smith, Meredith Wooster
Smith, Robert Charles Smith II, and Tootsie McLaren Tisdale; Rayford and
Bertie McLaren Fowler from Brownfield, Texas and Atlanta, La.; John Fowler of
