Mixon Reunion Held At Calvin Sunday, July 21


Descendants of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Mixon met at the home of Mrs. T. M.
Carson in Calvin Sunday, July 31st.  After a morning of fellowship, lunch was
spread under the oak trees during the noon hour.  Snapshots of the
participants were made throughout the afternoon.

Officers elected for the reunion were:  W. H. Mixon, president; Iver Lattier,
vice-president; and Mrs. J. M. Mixon, secretary-treasurer.  The next annual
meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. T. M. Carson on the fourth Sunday in
July.

Attending the reunion were, Mr. and Mrs.  T. M. Carson and family, Mr. and
Mrs. W. S. Carter and family, Arvil Carter and W. H. Mixon of Calvin; Mr. and
Mrs. J. M. Mixon of Goldonna, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Mixon and daughter Maudie
Lee; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Mixon and baby, R. C. Mixon and son; Mr. and Mrs. C.
D. Golden and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Dawson Barr and baby; Mr. and Mrs.
Earnest Bishop and children; Earl Cannon; Mrs. R. F. Gates and son; Grady
Golden and Nena Golden; Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Lattier and family; Mrs. Wayne
Davis and son; Mr. and Mrs. Troy Smith and son.
