John Quinalty, 90 Years Old

John T. Quinalty, Route 1, Box 87, Montgomery, will be 90 years old Thursday,
July 1.

Quinalty was the owner of "Blacky, the Wonder Dog" whose story appeared in
"Ripley's Believe It Or Not" several years ago.

Blacky could pick out his master's telephone ring from among the others
on Quinalty's party line.  Blacky would alert Quinalty by barking
only when Quinalty's number rang.  When the phone rang the number of the
party, Blacky ignored the ring.
