Rip Collins handcuffed the Tigers for six innings before yielding a single tally. The other Grambling runs were garnered on Mack Hall's two-run homer in the last inning. Tuskegee salvaged a run in the fourth frame off a walk and a two-bagger by John Moore and came back in the sixth with three additional tallies on two singles and Clarence Cole's double. Gussie Williams, one of four Winnfield, La., members of the Grambling club, notched his fifth victory of the season Monday night in Montgomery, Ala., as Grambling hammered out 13 hits, including four masters by J. P. Jerro and Earl Smith, to route Alabama State, 16-5. (Submitted by Greggory Ellis Davies, Winnfield, Winn Parish, LA.)
