Hiney Kent Leaves Friday Morning for National AAU Meet

Former All-American Star To Represent Winnfield

Leaving Friday morning for Fresno, Calif., Hiney Kent, former All-American
track star from L. S. U., will enter the National A. A. U. track meet there on
June 28-29.

A member of the Winnfield High School faculty, Kent entered the Southern A.
A. U. meet at New Orleans recently and won first place in the hop-step-and-
jump event, which he will enter at Fresno.  Hiney has announced that he
will represent "Winnfield, La." at the National A. A. U. meet.

Mrs. Kent and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Trahan will accompany Mr. Kent to California.
