Morgan is finishing his first year at Oregon. He was a regular on the yearling squad last fall, playing tackle. This spring, under Dr. Clarence W. Spears, Oregon's new head coach, who formerly was at Minnesota, Morgan was moved to fullback and did so well that he won a place on the first squad. Morgan is registered in the School of Social Science and hopes to become a coach upon graduation. He weighs 190 pounds and is growing all the time. He may be a 200 pounder by next fall. The Oregon team has one of the toughest schedules of any eleven in the country this fall. It plays Southern California, Washington, Oregon State, Idaho, U. C. L. A., St. Mary's, and New York University. Three years ago Oregon played Florida at Miami. The team was then under the direction of Captain John J. McEwan, who is now head coach at Holy Cross.
