H. Myrick and Bass To Train For Places On Shreveport Team

Harvey Myrick and "Lefty" Bass, local baseball players, have left for
Shreveport to train with the basaeball club of that city, for the purpose of
trying out for positions on the Shreveport team.

If they are not signed by the Shreveport club, Myrick and Bass will be signed
over to the Alexandria Reds of the Cotton States' League.  Both are trying for
pitching positions.

During the past summer, Myrick was star pitcher for the Hodge Paper Mill team. 
Both started playing while at school.
