Local Negro Is Signed Up With Globetrotters

Ezell King is now dressed in a Harlem Globetrotter uniform.  King is a former
student of Winn Parish Training School where he won a scholarship to Grambling
College.

During King's stay there, he was a star baseball and basketball player, and
was given a tryout with the Pittsburgh Pirate farm team.

After playing with the team three months, he came back to Winnfield where he
played baseball with the Winnfield Senators the past season.

Now Kin, a towering six footer, is touring with the world famous Harlem
Globetrotters, Negro basketball team well known for its basketball
showmanship.

King left for Chicago last month to join the team.
