Loyd Stovall Is Named Coach At S-Eastern College

Son of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Stovall, Dodson; Former L.S.U.Star

Loyd Stovall who has been coaching the Pearl River College football team for
the past season has been selected head coach at Southeastern College at
Hammond, it was announced this week.  Stovall succeeds Arthur L. "Red" Swanson
as coach at the Hammond school, Swanson being named freshman coach at
Louisiana State University.  Jesse Fatheree will serve as athletic director at
Southeastern and assistant to Stovall.

Stovall is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Logan J. Stovall at Dodson and was one of
the most valuable players on the football team while attending L.S.U. from
where he graduated.
