Newton Again Selected For All State Team

The New Orleans States and Shreveport Times carried the pictures of the foot
ball team making "all state."  Winnfield is honored by being on the list. 
Grady Newton's likeness is there for guard; McQuiddy, Wasson, Watts,
Coker, and Heflin received honorable mention.  Winnfield started the year with
almost a raw team and was too much to expect a championship team.  Next year
with some promising youngsters on the way, prospects look bright at this
distance for another year.  Newton was selected at the close of last season
for the "all state" team.
