O. Lattier to Mr. Arlan Bice, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Bice of Calvin, was solemnized at the Methodist parsonage, Rev. C. C. Wier officiating. Only the immediate family of both parties witnesses the ceremony. Mrs. Bice is one of Winnfield's most popular young ladies, and a member of the 1932 class of Winnfield High School. Mr. Bice is a graduate of Calvin High School and attended school two years at Louisiana Tech. Following the marriage, the wedding party adjourned to the Lone Star Cafe where a few close friends were invited to a dinner dance. Those present were: Miss Sadie Lattier, Jewel Maxey, Annie Lee Bice, Clydie Parker, Myrtle Bice, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Culpepper; Messrs. Garland Bice, Rayford Shaw, Clinton Blake; and the honorees Mr. and Mrs. Arlan Bice. After the dance, the young couple went to Alexandria. They returned to Winnfield Tuesday and left for Tulsa, Okla., Wednesday where Mr. Bice is employed as manager of a large department store and where they will make their home.
