Miss Abrams, Sikes Native, Succumbs

Miss Doylene J. Abrams, 58, of Sikes, died Friday, February 28, 1975 in a
local hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sikes Baptist Church
with the Rev. Willie James officiating.

Burial was in the Sikes Cemetery.

Miss Abrams was a native of Sikes and the chief x-ray technician at the Huey
P. Long Hospital in Pineville for 22 years until her retirement in 1974.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Donnis Humphries of Pineville, and two 
nephews.
