Funeral Services Held June 2 For Wm. C. Abrams

Funeral services and burial were conducted Saturday, June 2, for William C.
Abrams, 55, of Sikes, La., who died Friday, June 1, at Pineville, La.  W. S.
Emmons of Sikes was in charge of the services.  Burial was in the Hurricane
Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Abrams was born in Winn Parish July 18, 1889 and always made his home
in the Sikes community.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Abrams of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs.
Stanley Smith of Sikes and Mrs. M. V. Malone, Jr., of Winnfield; two sons, W.
C. Abrams, Jr., of Fort Leonardwood, Missouri, and Morris Abrams serving in
the Army overseas; one sister, Mrs. Georgia Richardson of New Orleans.
