Ola M. Abrams

Ola Mertha Abrams, 81, of Winnfield, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, January 4, 1981
in the local hospital.  

Mrs. Abrams was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
and a native of Sikes.

Survivors include one son, Austin Abrams of Dalles, Ore.; two daughters,
Geraldine Womack and Helen Malloy, both of Winnfield; five brothers, Drew
Curry, Sr., Dennis Curry, Elton Curry, all of Winnfield, Morris Curry of Baton
Rouge, and S. K. Curry of Zachary; one sister, Vada Jennings of Baton Rouge;
eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home
with Bishop Loy Gaar and the Rev. Tommy Curry officiating.  Burial was in
Hurricane Grove Cemetery.
