Adams, 50, of Sikes, native and life-long resident of Winn Parish, died in a local hospital Friday, Nov. 21, 1952. Funeral services were conducted at the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Edward Smith, and interment was in the Hurricane Grove Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. __________ Williams, J. B. Willis, Crosby Adams, Jr., J. L. Willis, Leonard Willis, and J. C. Townsend served as pallbearers. Born July 8, 1902, in Sikes, Mr. Adams was a son of the Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Adams of Sikes. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, three brothers, Isiah Adams, Crosby Adams, and Ottis Adams, all of Sikes, and five sisters, Mrs. E. A. Willis of Sikes, Mrs. Nancy Bell Townsend of Marshall, Tex., and Mrs. C. H. Rose of South Denfield, Mass., and Mrs. Clifford Waggoner of Sikes.
