Last Rites Held For Henry Adams At Columbia, La.

Funeral services for Henry G. Adams, 60, who died at his home in Columbia,
Tuesday, September 11, 1945, were held Wednesday afternoon at Columbia at
3 o'clock, with the Rev. J. D. Kitchingham, pastor of the Columbia Baptist
Church, officiating.  Interment was in the Columbia Cemetery.

Mr. Adams, a former resident of Sikes, is survived by his wife; two sons,
Victor Adams and Drew Adams; two brothers, Monroe Adams and Elijah Adams; and
two sisters, Mrs. Stella Gates and Mrs. Della Simmons.

Pallbearers were E. E. Meredith, J. W. James, H. B. Fisher, Dan Tarver, O. H.
Watson, Hugh Thompson, C. E. Myers, and E. B. Head.
