Adams Held Sat., December 6 Funeral services for Mrs. L. M. Adams, whose death occurred at her home in Goldonna Friday, following a short illness, were held in the Goldonna cemetery Saturday, Rev. L. V. Fortenberry officiating. The deceased is the sister of Mrs. J. E. Rayburn of this place and she and family accompanied by the following friends attended the funeral services in Goldonna Saturday: Mrs. R. H. Smith, Mrs. Guy Culp, Mrs. Maynard Shetley, Mrs. Floyd Long, Mrs. E. C. Eyer, and Mrs. Jones Baker. Mrs. Adams will be remembered as having been a resident of Winnfield some four years ago when she was active in the First Baptist Church, making many friends who admired her for her many Christian virtues. Since early childhood she has been a member of the Goldonna Baptist Church and is held in the highest esteem in the community. Among the surviving relatives are the husband, two sons, and two daughters: Mrs. L. M. Adams, Malcolm and Myrtis Adams of Goldonna; and Mrs. James Gibbilteua, and Bethea Adams, of St. Louis, Missouri.
