All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 30, 1952 Winnfield News-American or Winn Parish Enterprise Sister of Winnfield Resident Succumbs Sunday Afternoon Five Montgomery Citizens Listed As Survivors Also Funeral services were held at the Clarence Baptist Church Monday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Mary Hickman Addington, of near Clarence, who died at her home Sunday afternoon following a long illness. Rites were conducted by the Rev. H. B. Gorum and the Rev. Elmer Pender, and interment was in the New Salem Cemetery at Crews. Survivors include her husband, James F. Arrington; four sons, Irving of Clarence, Ozro of Texarkana, Ark., Clyde of Seattle, Wash., and James F. Addington, Jr., of Natchitoches; four brothers, O. H., Charles, Oscar, and Dock Hickman, all of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. W. D. Addington of Montgomery and Mrs. Alvin M. Barnes of Winnfield; and two daughters, Mrs. A. B. Hudson of Alexandria and Mrs. T. F. Davis of Shreveport. Thirteen grandchildren also survive. Mr. and Mrs. Barnes and daughter, Jerry, Mrs. Jim Long, Mrs. Oscar Long, and daughter, Priscilla, and Donnie Pray attended the funeral Monday.
