Allbritton, 81, Is Buried At Beech Creek Had Been A Resident of This Parish Since 1901 Jesse J. Allbritton, 81 years of age, of Tullos, Route 1, died at the Baptist Hospital, Alexandria, Tuesday, September 24, following an operation. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Beech Creek Baptist Church of which the deceased was a member, with the Rev. M. Doughty and the Rev. Jesse Allbritton officiating. Interment was in the Beech Creek Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were grandsons of Mr. Allbritton: Homer Allbritton, Cotton Valley; J. C. Allbritton, Winnfield; J. B. Allbritton, Tullos; Tommie Lourrie and J. D. Keyes, Urania; and Finis Hill, Crowville. Mr. Jesse Allbritton came to Winn Parish in 1901 from Texas and settled in the Beech Creek community, where he has farmed and raised cattle. He was one of the most progressive farmers in this section. Surviving are six children: B. F. Allbritton, E. E. Allbritton, E. M. Allbritton, and Miss Lula Allbritton, all of Tullos, Route 1; W. H. Allbritton, Robeline, and Mrs. Perry Keyes, Urania. He also leaves 35 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and a brother, Tobe Allbritton, of Texas.
