Rites For Mrs. Oza Alexander Held August 1

Mrs. Oza Alexander, 61, died Monday, July 31, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital
after a long illness.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Charles B. Shell, Sr. of Joyce, and Mrs. R.
D. Skains, Jr., of Winnfield; four brothers, Velvert Connor of Salt Lake City,
Utah, Melvin Connor of Kingman, Ariz., Gilbert Connor and Marlin Connor of
Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. B. F. Taylor of Winnfield, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Melvin Connor officiating.  Burial was in
the Old Winnfield Cemetery.
