W. Y. Alexander, 94, Succumbs; Rites Held Friday

Funeral services for William Y. Alexander, 94, were held at 10 a.m. Friday in
the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. E. W. Evans
officiating.  Burial was in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Alexander, a farmer and longtime resident of Winn Parish, died at 9 a.m.
Wednesday, January 24, 1968 in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. W. L. Brown of Jonesboro and a number of
nieces and nephews.
