Pneumonia Claims 15 Year Old Youth

Elmore Alford, 15 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Alford, who reside on
the Winnfield-Marble Quarry highway, died Sunday, October 27, following an
illness of several weeks with pneumonia.  Funeral services were conducted
Monday at the Winnfield Cemetery with the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor Winnfield
Presbyterian Church officiating.

Surviving are the parents, the father being an employee at the quarry, two
sisters, and one brother.
